Refunds & Returns Policy

Proof of purchase

To obtain a refund, exchange or to repair a product that you have purchased from Lounge City, you must provide us with proof of your purchase. Proof of purchase includes:

·         Tax Invoice.

·         Receipt or Delivery Note for online purchases. Unfortunately, a confirmation email is not sufficient proof of purchase.

Whilst Lounge City will make every effort to locate transaction receipts through our system if you have lost or misplaced your tax invoice, we will only accept a bank or credit card statement if the amount on that statement directly corresponds to the amount for which the product in question was purchased. Multiple item purchases in one transaction will limit our ability to establish proof of purchase.

Warranty procedures for defective or damaged goods or goods which don’t match description:

Your entitlement to a refund, repair or replacement for defective or damaged goods is outlined in our warranty document. All faults or defects should be reported to Lounge City within 7 days of the defect or fault appearing to avoid any further damage.

 

Change of mind or cancellation of stocked items

Lounge City wants you to love your new furniture. If you find it doesn't fit (or doesn’t match), just let us know and we will do what we can to assist. Please refer to the table below as a guide to your options if you change your mind.

I want to exchange my goods for goods of equivalent value

If the goods have not been delivered, we will happily exchange for goods of equivalent value at no charge.

If the goods have been delivered, if advised within 24 hours of delivery, we will happily exchange for goods of equivalent value however you will be responsible for all transportation costs associated with collecting and/or returning to the supplier.

There are no exchanges available for change of mind after 24 hours of delivery.

I want to cancel my order and obtain a refund.

If the goods have not been delivered we will accept your cancellation and provide a refund however the following cancellation fees may apply:

·         1- A cancellation fee of $50.00 is payable for orders cancelled within 24 hours of purchase;

·         2- A cancellation fee of 30% of the purchase price is payable for orders cancelled more than 24 hours after purchase.

 

If the goods have been delivered we will accept your cancellation and provide a refund if advised within 24 hours of delivery, however you will be responsible for

     1- All transportation costs associated with collecting and/or returning to the         supplier.

     2- A cancellation fee of 30% of the purchase price will also be charged.

There are no refunds available for change of mind after 24 hours of delivery.

 

 

 

Please remember, refunds or returns are only available where the product is returned unused, in its original condition and packaging, complete with instruction manuals, assembly instructions and accessories.

Change of mind or cancellation for special order and manufactured items

 

I want to exchange my special manufactured goods for goods of equivalent value

If special manufactured goods have not been ordered and processed, we will happily exchange for goods of equivalent value at no charge.

If special manufactured goods have been ordered and processed, there will be no exchanges available for change of mind or cancellation.

I want to cancel my special order and obtain a refund.

If the goods have not been ordered and processed we will accept your cancellation and provide a refund however the following cancellation fees may apply:

A cancellation fee of $50.00 is payable for orders cancelled if goods have not been ordered at the manufacturer at time of cancellation.

 

There are no refunds available for cancellation if goods have already been ordered from respective suppliers
